<p>Q2V Compact Drive; The Q2V combines easy operation with high-efficiency control for almost any AC motor type, reducing the need for maintenance while saving energy.</p>



<p>The new Q2V compact drive facilitates flexible and energy-efficient motor control for induction (IM), permanent magnet (PM) and synchronous reluctance (SynRM) motors. An inverter controls the frequency of power supplied to an AC motor to control the rotation speed and acceleration in pumps, fans and other industrial machinery.</p>



<h3 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-easy-installation-and-setup">Easy installation and setup</h3>



<p>The Q2V is designed for convenient commissioning: All inputs and outputs come with screwless terminals and the hardware is simplified thanks to a built-in EMC (electromagnetic compatibility) filter and STO (Safety Torque Off) function, as well as a braking transistor. The benefit here is cost-effectiveness due to less wiring effort. An intelligent application set-up guides users through the parameter settings.</p>



<h3 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-application-versatility">Application versatility</h3>



<p>In addition to handling various types of AC motors, the Q2V comes with a dual rating, including the heavy duty and normal duty options. This results in application flexibility, enabling the same inverter model to drive motors with different ratings depending on the load characteristics. For additional versatility, users can customize the drive to their specific requirements with application wizards. The graphic development tools allow users to develop their own programs and maintain the know-how inhouse.</p>



<h3 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-proven-robustness-for-reducing-machine-downtime">Proven robustness for reducing machine downtime</h3>



<p>The rugged Q2V is protected from dust and humidity and is designed for 10 years of operation in temperatures up to 50 °C without maintenance. Thanks to data acquisition at device level, users can prevent potential failures and avoid unplanned downtime. The Q2V can trace and record data to a local SD card or provide the data to IT systems via Omron NX/NJ controllers.</p>



<h3 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-improving-energy-efficiency">Improving energy efficiency</h3>



<p>The Q2V improves energy efficiency of all the components in the loop. Thanks to special motor control methods, such as the EZ Vector for pumps and fans, it can drive efficient motors in the most efficient way. Its advanced motor control algorithms increase efficiency by up to 6% for asynchronous motors and up to 2% for permanent magnet motors, compared to conventional drives. The Q2V comes with additional dedicated energy-saving functions for applications where the loads have variable or reduced torque characteristics. These will automatically optimize energy savings, totalling in up to 50% energy saving.</p>

<p>The new LD-250 mobile robot from Omron can handle a payload of 250kg and is the strongest and newest addition to our LD series of mobile robots.</p>



<p>Together with the Fleet Manager, which for the first time in the industry enables the control of multiple mobile robots with different payloads through one system, it will help realize a more flexible and optimized autonomous material transport system.</p>



<p>The new LD-250 can be used to transport large automobile components such as transmission blocks and voluminous packaging materials. To optimize the autonomous material transport system, our industry-first Fleet Manager can control a diverse fleet of up to 100 of Omron mobile robots that can consist of different payloads and capabilities, by conducting traffic management, battery management, and navigation of vehicles.</p>

<p>Industry-leading HD-1500 expands the possibilities for autonomous material transport</p>



<p>The HD-1500 is the strongest and newest addition to our series of mobile robots, boasting a heavy payload capacity of up to 1500kg. It is ideal for today’s factories, where autonomous material handling solutions need to manage more demanding industrial automation tasks, along with implementing new social distancing requirements due to the Covid-19 pandemic.</p>



<p>The 1500kg payload capacity of the HD-1500 enables transportation of large automotive components such as car chassis and voluminous pallet size payloads &#8211; items that would have traditionally been moved using forklifts. With the release of the HD-1500, OMRON&#8217;s mobile robots, including the LD-60/90 and LD-250, form a seamless lineup of models that can transport a wide variety of items – from components to WIP (work in progress), finished products, and heavy material.</p>



<p>Ensuring efficient material handling in factories, our industry-first Fleet Manager can control up to 100 mobile robots with different sizes, configurations and payload capacities under one system to automate complex material transport and logistics applications. The robots can automatically calculate the best route, while collaborating safely with people and navigating around obstacles, without the use of magnetic floor tapes nor other guides.
